We’re proud to present Uchiko Miami Beach, a bold new culinary destination—architecture provided by FORMGROUP Architecture + Planning.
Uchiko, meaning “child of Uchi,” is the latest concept from James Beard Award-winning chef Tyson Cole and Hai Hospitality. Built around the primal power of smoke and flame, the restaurant brings a daring, fire-forward twist to Japanese cuisine. From charred snow pea leaves and hearth-roasted lobster to wagyu seared tableside on hot stone, the menu is both adventurous and refined.

As the architectural partner behind the project, FORMGROUP was tasked with creating a a space as evocative as the menu itself. The result is a seamless blend of tropical brutalism and Japanese deco elegance—where raw concrete, shell accents, and sea-green marble mosaics meet golden lighting, carved stone, and warm teakwood finishes.
More than just a restaurant, Uchiko is an immersive experience featuring:
A 207-seat dining room designed for energy and intimacy
A dramatic glass block bar that catches the light at the golden hour
A private 12-seat dining room anchored by a carved stone hearth

A Tuscan dining destination, the brand chose a dynamic site at the southern end of Brickell Avenue in the heart of the office/banking district. The 5,500sf space was transformed with the addition of a new mezzanine for private dining events and a new chic interior which reinforces the brands cosmopolitan style.

The Bowery project features high-design for a market driven apartment project. 103 units with extensive amenities, this 8-story rental building features a modern aesthetic and designed to fit into the growing Miami hospital district.

FLAGLER ENCLAVE is an 8-story development made of up two separate buildings along the busy Flagler St corridor. The project includes a total of 225 rental units and is intended to serve the workforce housing needs of the local community.
